Treasurer Vivek Malek Announces Appointment of Communications Director
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Jackson Bailey Jefferson City, MO — The Office of Missouri State Treasurer is pleased to announce the appointment of Tianna Brooks as its new Communications Director. Brooks brings over two decades of experience in public affairs, strategic communications, and leadership across state and federal government. Most recently, Tianna served as Communications Advisor and Field Representative for Missouri’s 4th Congressional District, where she led district-wide media engagement and coordinated communications for congressional events and stakeholder outreach. She also held the role of Operations Director and Communications Specialist in the Office of the Missouri Governor, contributing to communications planning and public engagement across Southwest Missouri. Tianna holds a Master of Public Affairs and a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy from the University of Missouri, as well as a Master of Educational Administration from Missouri State University. Her background includes board service with the Missouri Press Association and the National Newspaper Association. “I’m proud to welcome Tianna Brooks as our new Communications Director,” said Treasurer Malek. “Her experience and dedication to public service make her an incredible asset to our team.
