            JEFFERSON CITY—Below is a weekly accounting of the activities and performance of the three divisions of the Missouri Treasurer’s Office.

Investment Division (10/13/05 through 10/19/05)

            Avg. Portfolio Book Value:  $      2,964,356,099.25

            Avg. Yield:    3.465 percent.

Unclaimed Property Division (10/13/05 through 10/19/05)

            Amount Returned To Owners:      $     419,880.35

            Number of Accounts Returned:                    1,163

Banking Division (10/13/05 through 10/19/05)

            State Receipts:            $ 464,008,030.85

            State Disbursements:   $ 356,575,856.62

            Electronic Transfers:                     76,738

            Checks Issued:                            44,889

            Checks Cleared:                          40,088

            (Note: On Oct. 14, the state made a distribution to schools, paid semi-monthly payroll and made MoDOT payments. On Oct. 14, the state received federal money to fund MoDOT activities. On Oct. 18, the state received federal money to fund Medicaid payments. On Oct. 19, the state received federal money for distribution to schools.)

As of close of business October 19th 2005, cash balances were:

            Budget Reserve             $   222,663,025.88

            General Revenue           $   108,816,648.60*

                      *On July 19, a $200 million transfer was made from Budget Reserve to General Revenue for cash flow purposes. On Wednesday, Oct. 19, OA transferred $50 million from Budget Reserve to the General Revenue fund for cash flow purposes.
