            JEFFERSON CITY—Below is a weekly accounting of the activities and performance of the three divisions of the Missouri Treasurer’s Office.

Investment Division (08/18/05 through 08/24/05)

            Avg. Portfolio Book Value:  $      3,030,744,043.67

            Avg. Yield:    3.301 percent.

Unclaimed Property Division (08/18/05 through 08/24/05)

            Amount Returned To Owners:      $     399,671.05

            Number of Accounts Returned:                     1,143

Banking Division (08/18/05 through 08/24/05)

            State Receipts:            $ 415,348,272.16

            State Disbursements:   $ 547,693,128.26

            Electronic Transfers:                    14,767

            Checks Issued:                            37,632

            Checks Cleared:                          37,691

            (Note: On Aug. 18, the state received federal money to fund Medicaid payments. On Aug. 22, the state made payments to Medicaid providers and a distribution to schools.)
