            JEFFERSON CITY—Below is a weekly accounting of the activities and performance of the three divisions of the Missouri Treasurer’s Office.

Investment Division (07/28/05 through 08/03/05)

            Avg. Portfolio Book Value:  $      2,925,444,533.49

            Avg. Yield:    2.985 percent.

Unclaimed Property Division (07/28/05 through 08/03/05)

            Amount Returned To Owners:      $     442,776.60

            Number of Accounts Returned:                    1,571

Banking Division (07/28/05 through 08/03/05)

            State Receipts:            $ 482,539,721.47

            State Disbursements:   $ 308,436,764.08

            Checks Issued:                            53,721

            Checks Cleared:                          43,354

            (Note: on July 29, the state paid semi-monthly state payroll and made MoDOT contractor disbursements. On Aug. 3, the state received federal money to fund Medicaid payments)
