Treasurer Steelman To Conduct Press Conference Announcing
New Outreach Program To Return Unclaimed Property To Missouri Veterans

            JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri Treasurer Sarah Steelman will conduct a press conference at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, at the Veterans Memorial on the north side of the Missouri Capitol.

The purpose of the press conference will be to announce a new Veterans Outreach Program to return unclaimed property to Missouri veterans.

Steelman is expected to be joined by an account owner already identified by the new program who will be presented with a check during the event. Also joining Steelman will be representatives of the Missouri Veterans Commission, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

In case of inclement weather, the press conference will be moved to the Treasurer’s Office in Room 229 on the second floor of the state Capitol.
