REVITALIZATION IN MISSOURI

Farmers form the backbone of our society. In fact, it is no exaggeration to say that our society would not exist without the blood, sweat and tears that our farmers have left in the ground. Too often the agricultural community is taken for granted and help that should be given to them is not. The result of this neglect is a farming community in peril and farmers and their families having a harder and harder time making ends meet.

That's why I'm making it a top priority as your state treasurer to do all I can to bring about a revitalization of our farming and agricultural community. I have set aside several million dollars throughout the various programs within the BIG MISSOURI FARM initiative further detailed on this website. I know that if farmers are given a fair chance, they will bring in a great harvest and realize a better way of life. I plan to work with individual farmers and the agricultural community as hard as I possibly can so that our farmers in Missouri will once again thrive.

I believe in you. And I'm not just talking the talk, this is real help that will make a real difference. So get together with your banker and get a plan together. This program can be like rain on your fields, and I know that by working hard together we're going to grow, BIG!!!
