Treasurer Clint Zweifel Promoting Low-Interest Loans in Hannibal

Treasurer will be at Hannibal Machine Inc. on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

State Treasurer Clint Zweifel will be in Hannibal on Wednesday, September 30 to speak about the Missouri Linked Deposit Program, a low-interest loan program for small businesses and farms that he administers.  Borrowers using the low-interest loan program usually save about 30 percent on their interest costs.  The Missouri Linked Deposit Program, which has $720 million in lending power, was expanded as part of economic development legislation Treasurer Zweifel developed called Invest in Missouri.

Treasurer Zweifel will be at Hannibal Machine Inc., a current user of the Missouri Linked Deposit Program, to talk about expansion of loan eligibility.  Hannibal Machine Inc., serves many Tri-state businesses, and hasreceived a patent for a Reversible High Ground Clearance Steering Axle it produces for farm spray trucks.
