Treasurer Zweifel's Statement on Auditor Montee's
Audit of the Missouri Housing Development Commission
JEFFERSON CITY - State Treasurer Clint Zweifel released a
statement on the audit performed of the Missouri Housing Development Commission
by State Auditor Susan Montee's office. "I appreciate the work Auditor Montee has put towards this
audit of MHDC. MHDC must build the
public trust, and the audit provides many specific recommendations the full
commission needs to thoroughly and thoughtfully consider. I look forward to working with commissioners
and MHDC staff to see that reforms are made at MHDC to provide for the public
trust, gain efficiency and increase return to taxpayers." |
