The Office of the State Treasurer Clint Zweifel is now accepting applications for a Linked Deposit Coordinator. This position’s primary duty is to facilitate deposits of Missouri funds in financial institutions which will have long-term economic benefits to the State of Missouri. In addition, this employee provides coverage for the Time Deposit Program and Collateral Management in the absence of the Time Deposit Coordinator and/or the Investment Coordinator. This employee can expect to have extensive contact with banks, all levels of state government, and the public while handling confidential or sensitive information pertaining to bank and borrower financial information. Work assignments are routine in nature though special assignments may be received by the Director of Investments or other senior staff. This position reports to the Director of Investments.

Qualifications:

Two or more years work experience in the securities/banking/trust industry, or a four year college degree in a business related field. Thorough understanding of Excel, Word and the ability to learn other software products with ease. Attention to detail and a desire to put forth extra effort. Ability to handle all situations in a proactive, not reactive fashion. Outstanding customer service, oral and written communication skills.
